MORE THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS…
FASTCUFF® H-BLOCK is the result of extensive research and development by a former police officer and a precision engineer, to design and manufacture a cost-effective and versatile nylon restraint to meet the demands of law enforcement professionals worldwide.
During conditions of armed conflict, civil unrest or operations other than war the supply chain can be disrupted. The demand for more restraints will inevitably increase as you deal with mass arrests and prison facility evacuations.
The FASTCUFF® H-BLOCK design allows for both reusable key operated nylon restraints and disposable (single-use) cable-ties to be installed. You can simply replace the key operated reusable nylon restraints if required with a standard 9mm or 10mm cable-ties.
A 100 pack of (9mm x 450mm) cable-ties can be sourced locally at most builders’ merchants at a fraction of the cost of ‘flex-cuff’ style double loop restraints.
LOAD
The FASTCUFF® H-BLOCK allows for reusable key operated nylon restraints to be loaded in a double-loop configuration.
Reusable key operated nylon restraints are numbered 1 and 2 just below the head. Loading a number 1 and 2 ensures both key-ways are facing in the same direction.
Simply place the head of the restraint with the key-way facing out. The tail of the strap then goes through the H-BLOCK and into the head of the restraint. This will lock and load the restraint in the double-loop configuration.
The FASTCUFF® H-BLOCK has a total weight of 49 g when loaded with the reusable key operated nylon restraints.
CARRY
The FASTCUFF® H-BLOCK allows for the restraint to be folded in half for convenient carry on a duty belt using a Karabiner style clip.
The straps of the nylon restraint can also be inserted into the webbing of a MOLLE compatible PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System).
RELEASE
No cutting tool required.
Some of the advantages of the key operated reusable nylon restraints are easy release with a universal handcuff key.
To release, insert the handcuff key in the slot and turn towards the tail of the restraint and at the same extract the strap from the head. You should not have to turn the key very hard to get the strap to move.

COST-EFFECTIVE
In the first hours of captivity, a subject may require their disposable nylon restraints cut off over 5 times.
When compared to single-use nylon restraints the reusable key operated nylon restraints can provide a saving of 90% when reused up to 20 times.
Made from high strength Nylon 6 with a tensile strength of 158 kg (350 lb).
Replacement key operated nylon restraints and handcuff keys are available.
